Back on training

First month of regular training done – doing about 70km a week and enjoy being back on the track. Lost 1.5kg already even so I am digging into my new pre- and post training snack everyday. Nutella 3kg

Tested the new Altra Running shoes but sadly, even so they are extremely comfy with the wide toe box I had to retrieve my old Hokka One One again.

The road model especially made my old knee pain flare up again – just not enough cushioning for my old bones. 13631578_1241085052569990_2288572624165464138_nThat zero-drop approach of these models seems to risky for me to take on board right now. Shame, as I really liked the space for my wide feet.

Looking forward to next weekend – cross training weekend ahead = going skiing for four days 🙂
