This week was supposed to be week 2 of my training schedule but I am still badly under the weather and was just happy (not) to be back at work. Bloody cough is still not gone and I am lost on how to get rid of this messy European cold. My feet are so itchy to get out and hit the road it is not funny anymore.
Last night we had a great evening at the Ritz Cinema in Randwick and enjoyed a great movie from Clint Eastwood starring an excellent Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman – ‘Invictus’, an inspiring story. Thanks to generous support of all attending I was able to transfer close to $1000 to The Fred Hollows Foundation and another 40 needlessly blind people will be able to see again!
So two more days of hot tea with lemon and then I really hope I can put those new Nike runners on Monday morning to go for a jog.
